Lent is the church season for the 40 days leading up to Easter. It's a time of contemplation and deepening our faith. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday. This year, we'll have our Ash Wednesday service as part of our Wednesday potluck dinner. We'll open with prayer, and have time at the end of dinner to hear scripture and receive ashes on our foreheads or hands. If you'd like to bring Middle Eastern food to share, that would be wonderful!
