Advocacy For The Long Haul
People across the country are asking the same question” “What can I do to
change what’s happening in the world?”
Our 75 years on Capitol Hill have shown that your voice can make an important
impact on federal policy. In-person meetings with your members of Congress are the most effective way to influence policy decisions.
Please join the Friends Committee on National Legislation (A Quaker Lobby in the Public Interest) for an advocacy workshop and
learn to influence members of Congress, drive media coverage, build a strategic team that lobbies and prevent increases in Pentagon spending.
Saturday, June 3, 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Northbrook United Methodist Church, 1190 Western Avenue, Northbrook.
For more information call the church office to be directed to Chris Greulich.
